Suspect Nabbed After Stealing Jeep In Front Of Business, CT State Police Say

A Connecticut man has been arrested for allegedly stealing a Jeep from in front of a business.

Litchfield County resident Philip Beach, age 52, of the Town of Washington, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 27 at his home after Connecticut State Police received a report of the theft.

According to the state police, Beach allegedly took the Jeep from in the business located in the town of Washington around 5 p.m. and was arrested two hours later.

In addition to larceny, he was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.

Beach was held on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, Jan. 28.
